American Cancer Society, Worcester Massachusetts.Communications Intern
At the American Cancer Society I had the opportunity to facilitate all Communication efforts of a nonprofit. I drafted press releases and pitched stories to a variety of local media. I also published an internal newsletter for volunteers and wrote photo captions for internal and external reports. I attended American Cancer Society events to assist with media packages and secured press coverage. Every day I was inspired by the passion and energy each member of the American Cancer Society team brought to the office. I was truly inspired by their dedication to the cause and have carried the priority to believe in my work with me.
